Whether you are a cancer patient, survivor, newly diagnosed, or in treatment, yoga can further your recovery and help you feel whole again. Join us online for a free flowing sequence of supported yoga postures. We will end our session with a nice extended Yoga Nidra (healing relaxation time). This class is appropriate for all levels and no prior yoga experience is needed. Please contact me if you have any questions.
Classes are Monday and Wednesday at 4:30pm, and are offered through Spectrum Health – LHCP on Zoom. Please use the coordinating links to join each class.

After registering, you will receive your password for class.
What You Need:
• Open space to sit and/or lay
• Yoga mat
• Yoga blocks to help with modified postures (optional)
• Yoga strap (you can also use a long robe belt or regular belt)
• Throw blanket to use for relaxation
• Throw pillow to sit on (optional)
• Water bottle

Drop in – $10.00
If you choose to drop in for a class you will need to register each week for the class.
Minimum of eight participants per class. Class will be canceled if there are less than eight participants

Restorative yoga promotes healing through restorative postures that ease discomfort. A restorative yoga class typically involves only five to six poses. Postures are supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest. These postures are held for 5 minutes or longer to allow the body to fully relax and restore.
Gentle Yoga classes are a great place to take it slower, and still experience all the benefits of yoga. Classes focus on releasing tension, connecting with the breath and helping students gain strength and flexibility. Gentle yoga uses classical hatha postures with slight variations to accommodate all levels of yoga students.
Gentle Yoga w/Core Series
Gentle Yoga classes are a great place to take it slower, and still experience all the benefits of yoga. Classes focus on releasing tension, connecting with the breath and helping students gain strength and flexibility.
Gentle Yoga w/Core offers all of the benefits of the classical Hatha postures, with additional postures focusing on bringing attention to the core.
As always, this class accommodates all levels of yoga students.
